JOB DESCRIPTION

The Regional Security Coordinator supports the Regional Security Manager in the day-to-day coordination of Global Security programs, standards, and initiatives across the assigned geographic region. The position serves as an operational extension of the Regional Security Manager, working with manufacturing locations and local management to implement Global Security requirements, identify security vulnerabilities, track corrective actions, and support consistent application of corporate security policies, procedures, and standards. This is a coordination and advisory role, primarily office-based, with regular travel to regional sites. Responsibilities include conducting site visits and security reviews, following up on identified deficiencies, coordinating with contracted security providers, and supporting incident management, investigations, travel security, crisis response, and the planning of executive visits and events. The position performs security-program management, risk assessment, audit, advisory, investigative support, and vendor oversight activities. The employee does not personally perform security guarding, patrol, access-control, executive-protection or armed duties, crowd-control or physical intervention duties and is not deployed as a substitute for licensed guarding personnel. Licensed contracted providers deliver those services, and the Coordinator helps coordinate and monitor them. The Regional Security Coordinator works under the direction of the Regional Security Manager and in close coordination with Global Security and the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). The position is expected to understand the company's risk-driven security strategy and translate regional and global direction into practical execution at the site level.

  • Support security assessments and help develop, implement, track, and close corrective actions and mitigation plans.
  • Track site compliance with Global Security standards, assessments, and corrective actions against established timelines, escalating unresolved or overdue deficiencies to the Regional Security Manager.
  • Monitor implementation of security improvement initiatives and provide regular status updates to the Regional Security Manager.
  • Identify emerging security issues, operational deficiencies, and recurring trends and escalate them to the Regional Security Manager.
  • Support plants during security incidents by coordinating with the Regional Security Manager, GSOC, and appropriate internal stakeholders.

  • Review access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, perimeter protection, visitor management, key control, and related security systems and processes against Global Security standards.
  • Advise plants on resolving security system, process, and compliance issues.
  • Support the planning and implementation of security system upgrades, installations, and regional security projects in coordination with Facilities, IT, and approved vendors.
  • Conduct follow-up reviews to confirm identified vulnerabilities and corrective actions have been addressed.
  • Support the Regional Security Manager in monitoring contracted security providers, including staffing levels, post orders, training, performance, incident response, and compliance with service requirements.
  • Review contracted security provider performance and escalate deficiencies to the Regional Security Manager.
  • Support visitor management processes and ensure alignment with corporate standards.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
