As a Sales Development Manager at Conga, you will lead, inspire, and optimize a high-performing Sales Development team focused on driving pipeline generation through outbound efforts. You play a critical role in building the future of Conga’s revenue growth by developing strategic prospecting approaches, improving team productivity, and delivering high-quality, sales-ready opportunities.

You are a people-first leader with a passion for developing talent and a strong bias toward results. Your ability to motivate, coach, and hold your team accountable will be essential to driving consistent performance and long-term success.

Collaboration is central to this role. You’ll partner closely with Account Executives, Regional Sales Managers, Marketing, Sales Operations, and Business Intelligence to ensure alignment and sustained momentum in pipeline growth.

Are you the person we’re looking for...

Sales Development Leadership & Performance. You’ll lead and develop a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), creating an environment where performance, growth, and accountability thrive.

This includes:

  • Managing, mentoring, and coaching SDRs to support their professional growth and performance

  • Holding the team accountable to meeting and exceeding pipeline creation goals and activity expectations

  • Fostering a culture of excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement

Productivity, Process & Execution. You’ll continuously improve how the team operates by leveraging modern sales methodologies, tools, and enablement programs.

This includes:

  • Enhancing the quality and quantity of meetings set through structured coaching and enablement

  • Leveraging Salesforce and performance data to identify trends, uncover insights, and drive targeted coaching

  • Implementing process improvements that increase efficiency and effectiveness

Cross-Functional Collaboration. You’ll work closely with Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations, and Business Intelligence partners to refine messaging, qualification criteria, and workflows that support pipeline success and sales alignment.

Related experience. Three years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, including cold calling and pipeline generation

  • 2+ years of experience leading high-performing sales development teams, with a track record of exceeding team goals

  • Strong ability to engage with senior leaders and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams

  • Comfort thriving in fast-paced, continuously evolving environments

  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach, and other inside sales technologies

Here’s what will give you an edge…

Industry expertise. Experience with enterprise software is a strong advantage. Familiarity with pricing optimization, CPQ, CLM, and/or the Salesforce platform will enable you to ramp quickly.

Continuous improvement mindset. Ability to analyze performance data, identify areas of opportunity, and implement strategic improvements that drive results.

Ability to motivate. Proven skill in building a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, accountability, and high performance.

Listed below is the U.S. base salary range for this full-time position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education, or training. In addition to base salary, Conganeers receive a variable incentive pay component, perks such as flexible work options, and a full range of benefits including medical and dental insurance. 

The posted salary ranges are for the expectations outlined in the job description.  We are often open to a wide variety of profiles and sometimes have flexibility within our organizational structure to adjust the role responsibilities up or down should we select a candidate that is less or more experienced than the posted job requirements.  In these occasional cases, we will communicate the revised salary range to the candidate during the selection process.

U.S base salary range:

$176,540 - $282,460 USD
