About the Job
Under limited supervision, this position is responsible for leading a team of associates performing the physical tasks involved in processing orders, shipping, and distributing of products, materials, supplies and equipment for Connected Cannabis Distribution.
What You Will Do
- Routinely organize Sales team order submissions and communicate priorities to shipping associates
- Work closely with CSRs to print orders, and submit compliance data for accounts
- Uphold compliance with rules and regulations issued by BCC
- Ensuring outbound product meets quality control standards and ensure quantities are correct
- Confirm order shipment in Accumatica
- Support shipping associates with order picking, splitting, and manifesting
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, transfer inventory, and create new packages in Accumatica/METRC
- Supports the Drivers with loading outbound orders
- Assist with driver/van scheduling as directed by the Fleet Distribution Supervisor
- Aid in the barcoding of orders
- Submit PO’s to replenish soft goods
- Assist receiving team with the delivery of 3rd party products as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supports the Distribution Order Fulfillment Supervisor by communicating and delegating tasks to a team of shipping associates
- Always upholds compliance and regulatory requirements; maintains the reputation of the company
- Ensures product inventory is entered correctly and organized for proper storage
- Protects employees and customers by providing and safe and clean store environment
- Acting as point person for Shipping Team
- Assigns workers to specific job functions
What We Are Looking For
- High school degree or equivalent required
- Must be 21+ years of age
- Experience in the cannabis industry highly preferred
- Strong computer and mathematics skills, as well as data analysis; working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task with excellent organization skills
- Experienced relationship with internal team and external partners
- Comfort with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements
- Comfortable learning new technologies
- Aptitude for problem solving and troubleshooting and ability to recommend to management well thought out recommendations
- Excellent attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Calm under pressure
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Strongly committed to providing high quality products to clients including the packing and presentation of the products
- Safety and compliance focused
- High school or equivalent
- 2-3 years of distribution experience specific to the shipping/outbound function
- Physical Requirements/Work Environment
- Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., with or without assistance
- Ability to climb, push, pull, stoop, grasp, walk, sit, stand, bend and reach for the duration of shift
- Requires manual dexterity to operate job related equipment
- Requires normal hearing range
Compensation
The hourly pay range for this position in the selected city is: $19.50- $21.50. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
