What You'll Do:

The Contract HR Coordinator is responsible for creating a positive, organized, and engaging onboarding experience that sets the tone for each new hire’s journey with the organization. This role partners with Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, and hiring managers to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to employee, providing proactive communication, timely coordination of pre-employment requirements, and personalized support throughout the process. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering exceptional candidate experience while maintaining operational excellence and compliance.

  • Initiate and track pre-employment processes including background checks, medical screenings, and credentialing requirements
  • Partner with background vendors to ensure completion of employment, education, and license verifications
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, providing clear guidance and proactive communication throughout the onboarding process
  • Troubleshoot and resolve onboarding issues, ensuring a smooth and timely experience
  • Review background check results and support hire eligibility determinations in alignment with company standards
  • Maintain consistent communication with Talent Acquisition, hiring managers, HR teams, and external partners on candidate status
  • Coordinate and schedule New Employee Orientation (NEO), ensuring all required information and materials are distributed
  • Enter and maintain accurate new hire data within HRIS/payroll systems (e.g., Dayforce)
  • Provide general HR coordination support, including assistance with job descriptions and onboarding documentation as needed
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with patience, empathy, and professionalism when supporting candidates through complex or time-sensitive onboarding processes
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

This is a fully remote position.

What You'll Bring:

  • 2+ years of onboarding or HR coordination experience, preferably within healthcare
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • The Company has a mandatory vaccination policy. All successful applicants must be fully vaccinated, including showing proper documentation, or otherwise be exempt pursuant to the Company’s exemption process prior to their start date as a condition of employment

It would be great if you had:

  • Experience with Greenhouse (ATS), ClearStar (background/vendor management), and/or Dayforce (HRIS/payroll)
  • Experience supporting high-volume hiring or new site openings
