
Supervisor, Medical Services
What You'll Do:
The Supervisor, Medical Services provides oversight of the delivery of services provided by medical staff at the Connections facilities. The supervisor will ensure adequate staffing, scheduling, and appropriate decision-making regarding admissions, treatment and discharges. Performs direct clinical care and leadership responsibilities. Provides shift coverage for a minimum of 24 hours or 2 shifts per week.

Provides oversight and ensures adequate staffing of Medical Services staff in the facility.

Assists in managing performance and conflict resolution Medical Services staff. Ensures professional conduct of Medical Services staff.

Provides direct clinical care for at least 50% of time, to provide clinical assessment and care to patients as a BHMP in all locations to help support medical team and provide coverage as needed.

Assists with hiring, training, motivating, and developing all Medical Services staff in the facility.

Manages students, residents, and university contracts as required.

Ensures that payroll is completed and accurately reflects all hours performed by providers.

Monitors flow throughout the facility and works with leadership partners when internal or external barriers to patient movement are identified. Communicates with other organizations to coordinate care of patients.

Helps develop and lead trainings for Phoenix and other Connections hospital markets and may require travel.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring:

Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program with a psych certification.

3 years experience in the crisis mental health and/or delivery of family health treatment to children, adolescents, or adults.

2 years experience in a supervisory position.

Licensed by the State of Arizona; Board Certification and valid DEA Certification and X License.

- Complete all credentialing requirements within the required time period, including but not limited to obtaining a National Provider Identifier (NPI), Medallion enrollment, Medicare enrollment, and any other necessary credentials as required for the role.
