
Manager, Facilities Services
What You'll Do:
The Manager, Facilities Services is responsible for supporting the day-to-day oversight of the Facilities department. This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient facilities services operations, regulatory compliance and day-to-day management of a housekeeping (EVS) team. The Facilities Services Manager uses their knowledge of facilities, maintenance, and EVS processes. This individual assists in the support and oversight of a nationwide team of facilities and EVS team members. The assurance of a collaborative, efficient, and customer service-oriented facilities team is a critical aspect of this role.
- Facility Maintenance & Operations
- Oversee the performance of routine, rotational maintenance to ensure equipment and facility operations run smoothly
- Assist in the creation of a company run EVS department including hiring, establishing staffing levels, and day-to-day oversight of the EVS teams
- Coordinate the troubleshooting of any cleaning equipment issues including electrical, mechanical, and process issues independently, identifying, and resolving root causes
- Provide occasional assistance in facility maintenance tasks as needed
- Review and assist in the conducting of site inspections, record keeping, and documentation for regulatory compliance inspections
- Work Order & Vendor Coordination
- Respond to repair and maintenance tickets submitted by internal departments in a timely manner
- Assign and provide updates on pending Facilities work order requests
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for outsourced repairs, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution
- Oversee floor care vendor performance and selection
- Inventory & Supply Management
- Work with suppliers and site staff to coordinate the ordering of medical, housekeeping, facilities and EVS supplies, monitor inventory levels, and report on supply status
- Coordinate the receipt, organization, and distribution of supplies in each facility
- Establish supply and chemical standards for all locations
- Compliance & Environment of Care
- Review and respond to any Environment of Care concerns through the ticketing system to support Safety Committee documentation and compliance
- Assist in the coordination of the Environment of Care committee
- Ensure adherence to facility standards related to safety, maintenance, and operational readiness
- Facility Cleanliness & Upkeep
- Assure the maintenance and quality of overall facility cleanliness, including floor care, general cleaning, restroom upkeep, and window cleaning
- Establish processes for restocking supplies and establish additional cleaning duties/best practices and trainings needed to support a safe and functional environment
- Performs all other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 4 years' experience in housekeeping/janitorial cleaning
- 1-3 years supervisory experience
- Working knowledge of: Cleaning best practices and floor care
- The Company has a mandatory vaccination policy. All successful applicants must be fully vaccinated, including showing proper documentation, or otherwise be exempt pursuant to the Company’s exemption process prior to their start date as a condition of employment
It would be great if you had:
- Previous healthcare facility experience
- 4+ years of supervisory experience
- Knowledge of the methods, practices, materials, and tools used in the maintenance
- Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions involved in the use of mechanical equipment and chemicals and current industry best practices for EVS
