General Summary:
The Web Designer is responsible for designing web pages that meet specifications and established design standards. This will include helping to enhance, maintain and assist with the development and delivery of online content and other proprietary web applications for ConnectWise Education in the University.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Design, build or maintain web sites, using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools and digital media
- Write, design or edit web page content
- Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback, and correct problems or refer problems to appropriate personnel for correction
- Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, meets industry standards and is compatible with browsers, devices or operating systems
- Maintain understanding of current web technologies or programming practices through continuing education, reading or participation in professional conferences, workshops or groups.

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:
- GIT
- Experience using HTML templates and designs is required
- Experience in CSS3, HTML5, jQuery would be advantageous
- Experience with AngularJS and/or React
- Strong technical background would be advantageous
- Strong network design and implementation knowledge would be advantageous
- Previous experience in a software development environment would also be advantageous
- Ability to work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Web authoring experience
- Problem-solving abilities and the ability to meet reasonable deadlines
- Strong team player, with the ability to build positive and collaborative relationships within the ConnectWise organization and with customer personnel
- Willingness to develop professionally.
Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:
- Associate degree in the Computer Sciences field or equivalent experience is preferred
- Previous technical experience would be an advantage
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
Working Conditions:
- Onsite/Hybrid/Remote depending on location
- 0-10% travel may be required
- May require occasional work outside of normal business hours (go-lives, deployments, etc.)
