General Summary:
The Vice President of IT Delivery is responsible for leading a global team of experienced professionals and managers focused on the IT Delivery strategy for innovation through IT. This role supports program managers and business leaders to deliver functionable and consumable IT products and services across the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sets goals and objectives for multiple teams for achievement of operational results
- Acts as a department leader while establishing and implementing strategies that have short to mid-term impact on the business results in alignment with the functions objectives
- Functions as the SME of the IT team and provides updates and communication to Executive Leadership
- Manages experienced professional and management level colleagues
- Develops plans and talent required to optimize the execution of the IT team’s strategies
- Manages, mentors, and coaches to develop a collaborative and dynamic team
- Coordinates cross-functional communication to align on initiatives and strategies to drive efficiency
- Champion an AI-first approach and promote adoption of AI, Agile, and IT Delivery principles across the enterprise
- Defuse conflicts, secure consensus, and clarify ambiguous technical or business use cases
- Lead IT Steer-Co and organize IT structures aligned with business functions and value streams
- Develop and manage IT intake, prioritization, and portfolio processes for visibility and impact measurement
- Establish delivery models in JIRA/Azure DevOps, including dashboards, scoring metrics, and continuous integration principles
- Partner with IT leaders to define release processes, composable architecture strategy, and cadence communication
- Work with Product Owners/Managers on backlog structuring and requirements gathering
- Collaborate with business partners to anticipate innovation needs and integrate them into IT’s roadmap
- Directly manage strategic initiatives and track IT accomplishments
- Improve delivery velocity and quality across IT teams
- Ensure governance, compliance, and security are embedded in development stages
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:

- Exceptional leadership and customer service skills
- Ability to effectively communicate complex problems and information that is understandable to colleagues cross-functionally
- Willingness to work in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills to give the team direction
- Professional presence suitable for interaction in meetings, in-person, or via email, as well as at internal and external facing events
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- 8+ years of experience in IT delivery and/or program management in complex and challenging business environments, using Agile frameworks
- 5+ years of hands on and direct experience with JIRA / Azure DevOps (ADO)
Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:
- 5+ years of Managerial experience
Working Conditions:
- Onsite/Hybrid/Remote depending on location
- Some travel required
