Position: Claims Intern

Principal Responsibilities:
- Supports a Claim Team in the Management of a book of business.
- Reports new claims and enters all relevant information into the Claim Loss Database.
- Interacts with carriers, vendors, and customers to ensure delivery of exceptional customer service.
- Monitor progression of first party claims, elevating to an Associate or a Consultant if problematic.
- Accesses insurance carrier and TPA claim systems for gathering claim and loss information.
- Assist in preparing reports, dashboards and claims data for various internal and external meetings.
- May participate in pre-renewal and claim review meetings with the client, insurance carriers, etc.
Other Functions:
- Maintains & ensures accuracy of client data and files that conform to company standards.
- Adheres to company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Risk Management major preferred.
- Detail-oriented and exceptional organizational and customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter, flexible, able to multi-task and handle responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency required in Microsoft products; Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without Company sponsorship.
Working Conditions
- Office environment with moderate noise level; Able to work flexible hours and travel to other Conner Strong buildings and client work sites when needed.
Effective June 1st 2026, the pay rate for this role is $25 per hour.
