Billing Coordinator
Department: Accounting
Job Summary: Conner Strong & Buckelew is seeking a highly organized Billing Coordinator. As a member of the Accounting Department, the Billing Coordinator will be responsible for preparing timely and accurate client invoices, maintaining billing records, and supporting the billing cycle from invoice preparation through payment reconciliation. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members as well as external partners.
Principal Responsibilities
▪ Prepare and issue client invoices in accordance with company policies and client agreements
▪ Ensure timely collection of payments
▪ Post client payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transactions
▪ Reconcile client accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
▪ Monitor A/R aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
▪ Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
▪ Provide clerical support to the accounting team, including data entry, filing, and report preparation
▪ Assist with audits and ad hoc projects as assigned
▪ Support CSB account teams and various profit centers as needed
Requirements
▪ High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in accounting/finance a plus.
▪ 1+ years of Accounts Receivable or Billing Coordinator experience preferred
▪ Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe
▪ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
▪ Highly organized with efficient time management
▪ Professional oral and written communication skills
▪ Excellent customer service skills
▪ Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without Company sponsorship
Specialized Knowledge or Licenses
▪ Experience billing in healthcare, financial institutions, or insurance a plus
Compensation
Salary for this position ranges from $55,000-$65,000. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by- case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
Qualifying positions will also be eligible for comprehensive benefits, such as participation in family medical and dental insurance programs, 401K plan, and PTO.
Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without Company sponsorship.
