What You’ll Do:
- Emphasis on building and shipping new software features via modern, high-leverage AI/ML approaches, such as parameter-efficient fine tuning of large foundation models
- Gain understanding of the unique data assets available at Constant Contact, a pioneering internet marketing company with a multi-decade legacy, and identify corresponding value-add through AI/ML models and applications
- Collaborate with PMs and Engineering leadership to understand business needs, and design and implement technical solutions that move the needle at an organizational level
- Utilize and configure advanced observability tools and partner closely with business stakeholders to ensure insights are leading to action
- Be a key contributor to a cross-functional, agile product delivery team
- Continuously research and experiment with state-of-the-art AI models, techniques and tools to drive innovation, both within our product and within the larger organization
- Articulate engineering design strategies related to scalability, performance, security, usability, and development platforms
- Plan technical direction with multi-year time horizons
Who You Are:
- 8+ YOE with a Bachelor's, 5+ YOE with a Master's - experience in AI, Machine Learning and Data Science, or equivalent experience in Software Engineering roles with demonstrated AI/ML emphasis
- Extensive experience driving AI/ML projects from conception to production deployment
- Experience leveraging large open-weights foundation models towards specialized use cases
- Knowledge of modern approaches to large-scale embedding datasets, e.g. vector indexing and search and related infrastructure, methods for clustering of embeddings, etc
- Proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning libraries (e.g. PyTorch, etc)
- Proficiency with commercial software development practices such as CI/CD, version control (Git), automated and manual testing
- Knowledge of machine learning modeling and evaluation methodologies and workflows, including the use of observability platforms for evaluation and monitoring of production systems
- Ability to utilize modern AI-assisted coding tools, as well as strong capability in “hands-on” coding
- Practical knowledge of essential aspects of AWS platform as related to the delivery of AI/ML models and product features
- Strong communicator with the ability to convert data insights into product and business recommendations, and successfully represent those findings to stakeholders

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education and work location. In addition, some roles may be eligible for additional on target commission pay or bonus. The compensation package includes health and welfare benefits including paid leave.
