Production Assistant (Seasonal)
OVERVIEW

The Seasonal Production Assistant will be responsible for planning and coordinating installation processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products. The Production assistant will assist with implementing strategies to optimize production performance and meet organizational goals.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Performance Indicators:
- Scheduling
- Inventory Control
- Order Entry
- Safety
Responsibilities:
- Assist with locating custom or stock products in warehouse.
- Assist in updating dispatch schedule with completed installation of products or issues with install or products.
- Communicating with dispatch on tickets to be re-dispatched.
- Move products identified in system as “shipped” or “in warehouse” depending on outcome of installation.
- Ensuring returned products are staged for later reinstall or returned to inventory.
- Communicate with order entry to change or add or delete product from sales orders if needed.
- Communicate with order entry if additional lines need to be added to orders if needed.
- Attend safety meetings as needed and assist with compliance and safety equipment requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Proven experience in production or manufacturing role.
- Solid understanding of quality management principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in production planning and scheduling software.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in production management or manufacturing leadership role.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices.
- Familiarity with SYSPRO.
- Proficiency in the use of cutting and shaping tools.
- Fluency in additional languages, particularly Spanish.
