Project Manager, Sales
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Project Manager, Sales will generate sales for CR Flooring. This person will work with existing customers and secure prospective new customers and clients by phone, e-mail and direct office or job-site appointments providing detailed information on product specifications, services, pricing and delivery and install scheduling.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Manage, cultivate and maintain builder, remodeler and retail customers for Construction Resources and actively participate in the day-to-day management of jobs under your control.
- Provide required documentation for all jobs submitted for processing:
- Signed contract or Written Approval with Total & Quote Number
- Adequately described material and labor on all sales (No TBD)
- Diagram of Work Areas, including pattern layouts
- Approval of Diagrams from client/end user
- Down Payment info when applicable
- Maintain consistent, timely, and regular contact with all trade accounts assigned and retail clients.
- Facilitate accounts receivable with collections on trade accounts as needed.
- Support operations as necessary to ensure exceptional customer service and high-quality services rendered.
- Communicate with customers in a timely manner. Return phone calls and emails within 24 hours.
- Continue education by attending PK’s, trade shows, etc. as required by management.
- Follow and educate clients on NWFA, TCNA, and all applicable industry standards; especially concerning installation and warranties.
- Match client’s needs with product benefits by providing client with education on said products and labor. Must present upgrade options to maximize profit and total price sold.
- Communicate charge orders quickly and efficiently with client and operations.
- Strive to be the best, know the most, and be an example of professionalism on a daily basis as the face of CR.
- Actively seek new accounts and opportunities to grow business. Attend trade network meetings regularly. (NARI, ASID, HBA, NKBA)
- Participate in Decatur Saturday Showroom duty rotation.
Competencies/Skills/Abilities
- 3 - 5 years’ experience/hands-on knowledge within construction industry product sales
• Self-motivated, driven to close sales
• Ability to communicate at all levels, both inside and outside of the Company - Computer literate; working knowledge of MS Office
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record
