Production, Quality Control (Flooring)
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Production / Quality Control Technician – Flooring to join our Construction & Flooring team. This position is ideal for individuals with a construction or trades background who enjoy working with their hands and ensuring projects are completed to the highest quality standards.
The role involves performing small flooring and finishing repairs (tile, grout, caulk, carpet, and wood), assisting with punch list work, and handling local material deliveries and pickups. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), has experience in construction or flooring trades, and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities

Perform small flooring and finishing repairs including tile, grout, caulk, carpet, and wood.

Complete punch list tasks to ensure projects meet company and customer standards.

Conduct quality control inspections on flooring installations.

Safely load, transport, and deliver flooring materials to job sites using company vehicles.

Assist with production and installation support within the flooring department.

Communicate effectively with supervisors, installers, and team members.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines.
Requirements

Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).

Previous construction or flooring trade experience (tile, carpet, or wood work preferred).

Ability to perform repair and punch work with attention to detail.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required for deliveries/pickups).

Strong work ethic, dependability, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
