Our over 5 million members (more than half of which access our information digitally) count on us to empower and inform consumers, incentive corporation to act responsibly, and help policymakers priortize their rights and interests in order to shape a truly consumer-driven marketplace.
As Senior Marketing Associate,Membership Marketing, you will play a key role in helping to grow CR's digital membership. Reporting to the Director, Digital Acquisition, you will be responsible for website and performance marketing, creative trafficking, landing page optimizations, and experimentation roadmaps. Working cross-functionally with Product, Design, Brand Marketing, Performance Marketing, SEO and our 3P Partner Network, you will serve as the point person to lead conversion rate optimization projects.

How You'll Make An Impact
CR’s members share our commitment to put consumers first and champion what’s good for all of us. In this position, you will manage and optimize the digital efforts to grow and support membership so we can continue this important work. You will also:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define the conversion rate optimization strategy and develop testing roadmaps focused on hitting or surpassing membership and volume objectives.
- Execute website and performance marketing initiatives, managing campaign setups, creative assets, landing page enhancements, and other digital experiments.
- Work alongside the Performance Marketing team to refine UX, copy, and creative elements through continuous, iterative testing.
- Coordinate with the Personalization Lead to assess creative performance, build reporting dashboards, and share actionable insights across the organization.
- Collaborate with creative agencies, internal teams, and partner networks to distribute creative assets and generate insightful, actionable reporting.
- Investigate and implement creative strategies on emerging digital platforms to bolster brand recognition and encourage target audiences to join as members.
- Utilize data-driven insights and A/B testing to pilot novel concepts and execute real-time campaign optimizations.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the digital environment, tracking competitor activities and emerging trends to refine ongoing strategies.
- Analyze CR's position within the competitive landscape by performing consistent research into evolving industry standards.
ABOUT YOU
You’ll Be Highly Rated If:
- You have the experience. Minimum 5+ years of digital marketing experience, with at least 3 years of experience in digital campaign development, content management and multivariate testing.
- You are a digital marketer with a strong creative eye e.g. design, creative and UX
- You’ve worked with external vendors on digital creative and working with marketing y to achieve business goals.
- You have an audience-first mindset with a commitment to maintaining and improving membership experience.
- You bring expertise in A/B testing with a proven track record of implementing learnings in real time for campaign success.
- You understand how to optimize marketing campaigns to reach and engage target audiences.
- You are an analytical thinker and can leverage data to inform and influence decision-making.
- You are comfortable presenting findings. Experience presenting results, reports, and recommendations to senior leadership.
- You are an Inquisitive individual with ongoing curiosity about the ever-changing digital environment and the ability to deliver innovative ideas.

FAIR PAY AND A JUST WORKPLACE
At Consumer Reports, we are committed to fair, transparent pay and we strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation informed by location, as well as the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. It is expected that most qualified candidates will fall near the middle of the posted salary range. We have three locations: Yonkers, NY, Washington, DC and Colchester, CT. We are registered to do business in and can only hire from the following states and federal district: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Vermont, Virginia and Washington, DC.
Salary ranges
- NY/California: $91,621.97-$103K annually
- All other CR approved locations (see above): $87,040.87 - $90,281.18 annually
