About the job - Event Marketing Manager

Join the Marketing team, where you’ll have the opportunity to help grow our event programs, helping us drive 40% year-over-year growth in 2026. This role includes managing our presence at industry events and tradeshows, organizing VIP dinners and special events, and running our webinar program. This is an opportunity to own and scale a high-impact events program in a growing B2B SaaS company

In this role, you’ll report to our Director of Marketing and join a lean team of ambitious marketers.

 

Your impact

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of ContactMonkey’s event program, including industry conferences, tradeshows, webinars, and our annual virtual conference, CommConnect. Own and influence pipeline generated through events, with clear targets tied to marketing and sales goals
  • Develop and own the global events strategy and calendar aligned to business goals, identifying high-impact sponsorship and event opportunities
  • You’ll help evolve and scale a growing global events program, building on existing initiatives while introducing new ideas
  • Managing the end to end logistics of each event (external and in-house), including but not limited to, planning event activations, event collateral and promotional items, travel management and coordination, etc. 
  • Collaborating with marketing and sales to drive event registration, engage attendees, and convert attendees into customers
  • Working with the Customer Success team to identify customers to act as brand advocates and to speak at events on our behalf
  • Track and report on event ROI, including pipeline, event feedback, and conversion rates
  • Continuously test, optimize, and scale high-performing event channels
  • Design creative, high-impact event experiences that differentiate our brand in competitive environments
  • People Management: Collaborate with a coordinator while coaching, guiding, and supporting the team to drive growth and performance
  • This role requires the ability to travel up to 20% the time, including domestic and international locations. Candidates must possess a valid passport (or be able to obtain one) and meet all legal requirements for international travel.

 

About you:

  • You have experience in events and have successfully organized various types of events (tradeshow sponsorships, dinners, customer events, webinars, etc)
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills including effective multi-tasking and the ability to prioritize and self-manage
  • Strong budgeting skills to develop, track, analyze and manage event program budgets
  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently with initiative and common sense to identify problems and provide solutions to achieve desired outcomes
  • Experience using martech tools to report on events (Hubspot, Salesforce, attribution software)
  • You have the ability to work independently and be a self-starter with a desire to test new, out-of-the-box ideas
  • You’re able to join us in our Toronto office (3 days per week)

  • At least 3+ years of experience in events or working on a marketing team in B2B SaaS
  • You're proud of events you've produced in your career, and have quantifiable results to show for it

Compensation & Work Details

The total compensation range for this role is $90,000 CAD - $120,000 CAD. Compensation is thoughtfully determined based on your experience, skill set, and alignment with our internal compensation framework and internal equity.

This is a backfill position for our Marketing Team based out of our downtown Toronto office, at King and Spadina. Our team works in the office 3x per week or as needed to promote collaboration
