Please note: This is a remote role, but we require this person reside in the UK

What you will do:

CvE is looking for a Senior Project Manager to be a part of how we establish best in class consultancy engagements for the worlds largest organizations. We deliver successful complex consulting and transformation projects on a global scale that require a solid grasp and application of product development approaches, AGILE practices and technical delivery.

As a seasoned project manager, with a desired background from a consultancy, marketing/ media agency, product and technology or marketing brand side, you will be able to bring your knowledge and experience to enable the working environment and identify, communicate, escalate and help define the approaches of a project while coordinating teams.

This means a proactive and focused approach on managing our project foundations, while looking ahead to understand impact of actions, decisions and managing the successful resolution or escalation to the business.

Required Capabilities:

  • Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy, momentum and output.
  • Ability to create and work in a structured paced environment.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Experienced in challenging how work is delivered.
  • Engaging directly with clients and rallying internal and client-side teams to ensure clear planning and channels of communication are maintained.
  • A minimum of 5 years senior project management experience.
  • Hold a qualification in AGILE, Scum or Prince2.
  • Experience in managing Time and Materials budgets of £500k+
  • To be an absolute process nerd.
  • Working within large programmes of work (within any of the following: technology, marketing, transformation & change management)
  • Excellent presentation & communication skills, able to tailor to your audience.

Desirable Qualities:

  • Experience in coaching Agile and delivery practices to teams.
  • Experienced with multiple delivery techniques, including Product Dev, DevOps principles and application of these principles within teams and projects.
  • The use of Jira and Confluence or similar.
  • Experienced working with data teams.
  • A good knowledge of MarTech technology and applications.

Responsibilities:

  • The effective management and coordination of multiple projects or workstreams within a progrmme of work.
  • The creation of efficient and well managed project environments from project initiation to close and analysis.
  • Work closely with clients, teams, and other project managers to plan and identify detailed requirements, facilitate prioritization and defining the definition of done.
  • Development of comprehensive timing plans or TimeBox plans for clients and team.
  • Forecasting team allocation and booking of resource and helping resolve and identify future conflicts.
  • The coordination and planning of clients and teams across geographies.
  • Project & RAID log management and ownership.
  • Capture, evaluate, and overcome project risks, and produce reports for management and key stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate change impact  - Support project teams in solution, resolution and escalation matters.
  • Setting up and improving communication channels within a project.
  • Capturing and distributed notes, actions & decisions.
  • Development and ownership of client status documents and project health related reports.
  • Providing clear financial forecasts, reports and utilization of teams.
  • Manage budgets for projects, be responsible for reporting on project health and final reconciliation to business leads.
  • Coach teams in best practice for Agile, scrum, logging and planning
  • Building structure and rhythm within projects to ensure teams connect.
  • Ensuring the process is followed and evolved in an interactive and collaborative manner, tailoring for project and team where appropriate.
  • Travel to client site or location internationally on occasion.
