East & West Sales Coordinator

We’re seeking an East & West Sales Coordinator to join our Sales team. The role is based in Chicago (potential to consider Washington, DC as a secondary option). The Sales Coordinator will report to the Vice President of Sales.
What You’ll Do:
As a Sales Coordinator in the East & West Region, your primary responsibilities will be to provide support to the Chicago, San Francisco, Washington, DC, Philadelphia, and Boston Sales Teams. Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for understanding Convene solutions for the East and West Meetings product and the space guidelines and pricing for each property.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the competitive set and develop relationships with hotel and conference center counterparts
- Converting small inbound leads to definite bookings (up to 50 participants) with an objective to reach and exceed budgeted goals per quarter
- Assist the East & West Sales Team by capturing and inputting accurate data into the CRM. This includes but is not limited to creating contacts, opportunities, quotes, space blocking, proposals, and event agreements.
- Support Sellers in their demand generation & prospecting strategy, which will include leaving the Sales Tech Stack - Knowland, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, HubSpot etc.
- Support the Convention / In Conjunction With (ICW) project initiative in East & West markets
- Support Convene Hosted Events, which may include creating invite lists, assisting with landing pages, liaising with the operations to prepare event details, and Client site tours.
- Be an active member of the team by
- Attend and participate in sales meetings and be prepared to discuss what you are working on/what you need assistance with to close business
- Sharing client feedback and sentiment with the sales team.
- Be a professional brand ambassador for Convene
What We Look For:
- 1-2 minimum years of experience in a sales support role
- Professional and detailed written and verbal communication skills to support efficient internal & external communication
- Ability to effectively build relationships with clients and team members
- Potential travel required for Internal and/or External meetings
- Flexible and out of normal business hours may be required
- CRM experience is a plus
- Experience with physical or virtual events, real estate, or flexible workspaces, a plus

Base Salary:
Salary Min: $60,000 Salary Max: $65,000
This role is also eligible for Convene's sales commission program.
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
