Please note: The candidate must currently a current student looking for a 12 month placement starting September 2026, reside in the UK and be able to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Our London Inbound Sales Team is expanding, and we are looking for a high-energy, relationship-driven student who is looking to get into the world of corporate events. Our Sales Executives know how to turn a warm inquiry into a long-term partnership. Reporting directly to our Head of Inbound Sales (UK), you’ll be the face (and voice) of CHG, welcoming prospective clients and matching them with our incredible venues.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Responsible for driving revenue for the portfolio through the qualification of all Inbound opportunities and maintaining great client and agency relationships 
  • Provide daily updates in a team format to the Head of Inbound Sales on existing sales opportunities and pipeline 
  • Qualify all Inbound enquiries, and deal professionally and effectively with all enquiries on a daily basis in line with the standard operating procedures
  • Leads on conversion of all enquiries for 15 or fewer people for  Meetings, Training & Events - Processing bookings up to contract and where required, attends site visits and meet & greet opportunities
  • Ensure enquiries for 15 or more people, upon qualification, are directed to the correct seller or account owner within the business 
  • Support team management, and the wider teams in their reporting by ensuring CRM (inclusive of funnel notes) is updated in line with expectations and provides clear and accurate activities
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all sales colleagues, both within the group and at the venue/operations level.
  • Optimize conversion rates for both new and existing business.
  • Become an expert in and maintain extensive knowledge of all venue locations within the Convene and etc. venues portfolio, including venue capacities, booking guidelines, and pricing.
  • Ensure 100% accuracy in data entry within the CRM system, in line with group expectations.
  • Take responsibility for venue/hub admin associated with channel management and booking checks (Finance/Commission, etc.).
  • Work from a Central office location.
