Recruiter (Contractor)

Foster City, CA

Conviva is the experience analytics platform for AI agents, apps, and streaming. Conviva pioneered quality of experience measurement for streaming video and has supported live digital experiences across 20 Super Bowls, 10 Olympic Games, and five FIFA World Cup tournaments. With full-census, real-time, stateful analytics, Conviva shows what consumers actually experience, not just whether systems are running, and connects that experience to revenue, retention, and risk.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO EVERY DAY

  • Own full-cycle recruiting across technical, GTM, and G&A roles, from intake through close. This is the core of the role.
  • Bring an innovation-forward approach to every search: test new AI tools, sourcing channels, and assessment methods, keep what works, and drop what does not.
  • Reduce time-to-fill on hard-to-source profiles, from AI/ML engineers to value-driven Account Executives, through sharper sourcing and stronger leader alignment.
  • Build a real working relationship with the leaders you support: understand their roadmap, pipeline, and hiring pressure well enough to anticipate needs, not just react to reqs.
  • Build workflows and artifacts, including sourcing playbooks, candidate scorecards, and market maps, that change how Conviva sources and evaluates talent going forward.
  • Build and document scalable recruiting processes, tools, and practices that create lasting value for the organization.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Demonstrated, specific use of AI tools to improve recruiting outcomes. Be ready to walk through a real example, not a general philosophy.
  • A record of recruiting innovation: a process, tool, or method you introduced that measurably changed how a team hires.
  • Full-cycle recruiting experience across technical, GTM, and G&A roles, with real depth in at least one and the range to move between all three in the same week.
  • Experience across both startup and big tech: you have helped a high-growth startup scale, and you have recruited inside a large technology company with a high hiring bar.
  • The judgment to assess talent beyond the resume, using signals like open-source work, published work, and a track record of results.
  • A track record of closing competitive candidates, including engineers, AI/ML talent, and quota-carrying sellers who were not actively looking.
  • Experience building trust with hiring leaders as a strategic partner, not just an intake-and-execute recruiter, without losing recruiting speed.
  • The confidence to take an existing approach and push past it rather than just execute it.
  • A genuine interest in being in the office and in the room. At Conviva, our best hiring decisions have come from in-person conversations.

The expected on-target earnings (OTE) range for this contract position is based on an annual salary of $120,000 to $175,000 and 30% target commission. Commission is earned based on the achievement of pre-determined outcomes and milestones. Actual compensation within the stated range will be determined based on factors including qualifications, experience, relevant education, training, and job-related skills.
