Summary:
Join our Maintenance team as an Electrical / Instrumentation Technician. In this role, you will focus on enhancing Overall Equipment Effectiveness through both proactive and reactive solutions. Collaborate with the process control and electrical engineering teams to safely produce Silica. Your expertise in PLC/Delta-V/HMI, control panel wiring, and instrument calibration will be crucial to client success.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance calibrations on various instrumentation and equipment.
- Install new instrumentation, controls, electrical systems, conduit, and electrical circuitry.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues using manuals, schematics, and prior experience.
- Inspect and test equipment circuits using devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or ammeters.
- Develop and maintain facility process documentation, including P&IDs and electrical prints.
- Train operations personnel in troubleshooting Instrument & Electrical equipment.
- Assist in establishing preventative maintenance programs for Instrument & Electrical.
Required Skills:
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in an Electrical & Instrumentation Department or technical training from an accredited training facility.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Attention to detail and an agile approach to work.
