Summary:

The Data Quality Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data within the MyInsight Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. This role involves advanced SQL querying, understanding clinical workflows, and correcting data integrity issues. The position requires onsite work in the Metro Atlanta area.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize SQL queries and MyInsight reporting tools to identify and correct front desk-related data entry errors.
• Perform routine audits to end-date outdated or incorrectly assigned benefits, ensure insured relationships are correctly set, and investigate uncompleted patient checkouts.
• Analyze service records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with billing requirements.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for data entry in MyInsight, ensuring accurate documentation for programs.
• Identify and correct missing office and lab visits, billable services without appropriate codes, diagnoses missing E/M codes, and missing vaccination admin fees.
• Manage duplicate patient records, ensuring consistency across the EHR system for accurate reporting and billing.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with EHR systems, preferably MyInsight by Netsmart.
• Proficient in SQL for data querying and report generation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with data cleanup and auditing workflows in a healthcare setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a public health or clinical environment.
• Familiarity with healthcare billing and insurance requirements (Medicaid, Medicare, Private).
• Understanding of ICD/CPT coding and E/M documentation standards.
