Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Network Technician to join our team. This entry-level role is responsible for providing daily operations support and maintenance for network systems, ensuring stable and reliable network services across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of network configurations and troubleshooting, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team under the guidance of senior staff.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support and maintenance for network systems, including LAN/WAN and wireless operations.
- Monitor network performance to ensure stability and dependability across multiple platforms.
- Configure and troubleshoot computer networks to resolve issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with network facility and hardware/software vendors to resolve problems promptly.
- Utilize network management applications to identify faults and ensure data and telecommunications access.
- Work as part of a project team on small to medium complexity projects, under general direction.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree, or technical institute degree/certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 0 to 1 year of IT work experience in infrastructure or network environments.
- Basic understanding of network systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to follow documented procedures and checklists.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
