Summary: The Webmaster is accountable for the design, enhancement, maintenance, availability, and effectiveness of technical functionality and content for one or more enterprise websites. This role involves coordinating with marketing and systems teams to manage content, user interface, and site updates to align with the organization’s business objectives and enhance site visits.
Responsibilities:
- Design, upgrade, and maintain the functionality and content of enterprise websites.
- Coordinate the publishing of website content, focusing on user interface and site aesthetics.
- Work closely with marketing and systems teams to align site content with business objectives.
- Gather requirements for ongoing site updates and enhancements to boost site traffic.
- Provide design, implementation, and administration support for web systems and services.
- Participate in project teams, occasionally assuming the role of project leader.
- Coach and mentor junior technical staff as needed.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 4 years IT work experience in systems administration and web graphic design.
- Proficiency in HTML, Perl, CGI programming, and web publishing procedures.
- Experience with multimedia design, animation, and complex web structures.
- Ability to work on medium to high complexity projects and systems.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
