Summary:
Join our General Services team as a key representative responsible for ensuring smooth operations across various sites. This visible role demands professionalism and the ability to work independently while supporting the team. Embrace diverse responsibilities and contribute to the department's success.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and DSNAP inventory and distribution systems.
• Ensure compliance with CFOP 40-2 Vehicle Management: maintain state vehicles and submit monthly logs on time.
• Manage Emergency Response Vehicles (ERV) and trailers.
• Assist the MASC with daily tasks and oversee mail destruction weekly.
• Facilitate internal and external departmental moves.
• Create and manage key inventories for employees and monitor the keycard system across various sites.
• Dispose of surplus materials and furniture in line with CFOP 80-2 guidelines.
• Provide furniture and desk solutions to employees as required.
• Install whiteboards, corkboards, and pictures in offices and hallways region-wide.
• Ensure preparedness with appropriate tools and responsibility for issued equipment.
• Support IT with equipment relocation during significant moves.
• Safely transport heavy items following CFOP 215-4 Safety & Loss Control procedures.
• Ensure proper operation of facilities’ utilities, including AC and lighting, for employee comfort.
• Navigate different areas and establish points of contact by using GPS and professional introductions.
• Maintain a tidy and organized warehouse environment, ensuring all aisles are clear.
• Promptly request supplies or purchase orders, ensuring authorization before services.
• Assist Disaster Management in preparing and recovering facilities and assets during hurricanes in Florida.
• Conduct immediate resolution of safety issues at all sites before departure.
• Address trespassing incidents and report to authorities and supervisors as necessary.
• Transfer surplus IT equipment to the Wildwood warehouse.
• Conduct regional site inspections as directed.

Required Skills:

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in using GPS for navigation and location management.
• Basic knowledge of safety and loss control procedures.
• Physical ability to handle heavy equipment and furniture.
• Valid driver’s license for operating state vehicles.
