Summary:

We are seeking an experienced API Developer to join the DevOps Team. This hybrid role is primarily remote, but candidates must be available to attend onsite meetings as needed. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in API development and contribute to Jira documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain APIs to support the DevOps team.
  • Document API processes and workflows using Jira.
  • Collaborate with team members, including developers, testers, business analysts, and scrum masters.
  • Participate in remote meetings and provide confident input in an Agile environment.
  • Embrace innovation and continuous improvement in solutions and processes.
  • Manage multiple projects under strict timelines in a dynamic environment.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Java and RESTful Service APIs.
  • Experience with RDBMS, Maven, Jenkins or Tekton.
  • Knowledge of Redhat, Redhat Openshift, and 3Scale.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes, JBoss, Bitbucket (GIT), and Confluence.
  • Understanding of Kubernetes and Agile practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in an online environment with a diverse set of individuals.
