Summary: We are seeking a skilled Groupware Systems Analyst to define and develop our organization's next generation collaborative work tools. This role involves working closely with end-users to develop specifications and oversee the implementation, maintenance, and support of groupware applications such as Lotus Notes and Microsoft Exchange. You will evaluate hardware/software solutions and provide technical leadership in the design, development, and promotion of groupware strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Define business requirements for collaborative work tools by working with end-users to develop specifications.
• Implement, maintain, and support groupware systems based on business requirements.
• Evaluate and recommend hardware/software solutions based on user needs.
• Provide technical leadership in designing, developing, and promoting groupware strategies.
• Engineer and deploy groupware applications like team collaborative computing, Internet and wireless access, document sharing, and next-generation messaging clients.
• Work on multiple products, activities, and projects, occasionally serving as a project leader.
• Coach junior technical staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of IT work experience in programming and systems analysis.
• Experience with groupware/messaging technologies, tools, and relevant platforms.
• Ability to work on moderately complex tasks and projects in multiple technical environments.
• Expertise in at least one product/system.
