Summary: The IT Business Planning Manager is pivotal in aligning IT strategies with business goals to support organizational success. This role involves collaborating with IT and business leaders to develop comprehensive business plans for IT, ensuring alignment across all IT divisions and departments.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with IT and business leaders to create and implement IT business plans.
- Facilitate the cascading of strategic plans to various IT divisions and departments.
- Conduct external IT environmental scans to provide competitive analysis and market assessments.
- Work with IT and business leadership to ensure technical decisions align with overall IT plans.
- Partner with enterprise business planning leaders to ensure strategic alignment.
- Engage in technology, business, and human resource investment discussions.
- Liaise with Finance and Human Resources to address IT needs and their impacts.
- Educate senior business and IT leaders on IT strategy and business direction.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT and business environments, with exposure to diverse technical settings and business segments.
- Experience in managing teams responsible for strategic planning, infrastructure, and operational support functions.
- Proven ability to manage and mentor supervisors, project leads, and technical staff.
- Strong project leadership and subject matter expertise across multiple complex projects.
- Excellent communication skills to educate and align senior business and IT leadership.
