Summary: The role of Enterprise Architect is pivotal in providing overall direction, guidance, and definition of an organization’s architecture to effectively support the corporate business strategy. This position involves researching, analyzing, designing, proposing, and delivering solutions that align with both business and technology strategies, ensuring the organization is well-positioned for future projects.
Responsibilities:
- Research and analyze current business and technology trends to propose innovative solutions.
- Design and deliver architectural solutions that align with the company’s business strategy.
- Act as a visionary to assist in defining the direction for future projects.
- Interface across multiple business areas to ensure cohesive integration of business and technology strategies.
- Lead projects as a technical expert, providing guidance and mentoring to junior technical staff.
- Define enterprise-wide architectures across multiple IT functional areas.
- Build consensus and facilitate the execution of proposed architectural solutions.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of IT work experience across multiple IT areas.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in enterprise-wide architecture in one or more specialty areas.
- Significant business knowledge with expertise in one or more technical areas.
- Proven experience as a project leader or subject matter expert on highly complex projects.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor junior staff.
