Summary: The Business Process Analyst is responsible for optimizing business unit performance by aligning business processes with information technology. This role involves resolving daily technology needs and analyzing processes to provide innovative solutions that enhance business performance. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of technical problems in relation to both current and future business environments, and should be able to integrate new processes with existing ones.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and resolve daily technology needs of the business unit.
- Conduct complex systems process analysis, design, and simulation.
- Identify and document processes for improvement and design new processes.
- Provide input and support for business process engineering planning and prioritization.
- Lead and facilitate process improvements across multiple sites or business areas.
- Participate in continuous review and updates to ensure processes meet changing business conditions.
- Provide counsel on future technology use and business process improvements.
- Mentor and coach junior staff on process improvement practices.
Required skills:
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of IT experience, including 4 years in process engineering and 2 years in project management.
- Expertise in strategic planning, tactical execution, project management, and process management.
- Strong understanding of business systems requirements and industry-wide requirements.
- Proven ability to work on large, complex projects with enterprise-wide impact.
- Experience in leading process improvements and facilitating integration of new processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
