About the Team:
This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative, growing CRM team that has real impact on business performance. You will be working alongside our CRM team, comprised of Sr Director of CRM, Lifecycle Marketing Manager, and CRM Coordinators. You will report directly to the Director of CRM. We are DOโers! Every member of the CRM team embodies a strong bias toward action and impact.
The role:
As our Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer engagement across multiple touch points, including email, SMS, in-app, and push notifications. Your primary focus will be on driving strategic initiatives to enhance customer retention, extend customer lifetime value (LTV) with new and existing subscribers.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement Strategy: Identify opportunities to engage customers throughout their journey, reduce churn, boost customer sentiment, and ultimately elevate LTV.
- Segmentation & Personalization: Develop a detailed segmentation and personalization plan to help drive KPIs across acquisition, retention, and resurrection.
- Predictive Modeling Enablement: Work and partner closely with Data Scientists to scale predictive data models (NBA, pLTV) to drive stronger user engagement, order rates, user retention and Lifetime Value (LTV)
- Testing Strategy and framework: Ideate, build, and optimize testing strategy for acquisition, retention, and resurrection efforts.
- Campaign Management and Automation: Work alongside CRM team and collaborate with the data team to design and implement robust processes for campaign management and marketing automation. This includes utilizing tools, creating efficient workflows, conducting A/B testing, implementing customer profiling and segmentation, personalization strategies, managing triggered events, and defining customer journeys and activation strategies to drive retention KPIs.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with various teams across the organization, including performance marketing, brand marketing, data, portfolio, product, tech, etc., to drive the successful implementation of email marketing initiatives.
- Reporting / Analytics: Drive improvements to reporting structure, and analytics and lead weekly CRM reviews with key cross-functional stakeholders
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of email marketing experience for D2C brands, particularly in subscription-based businesses.
- Experience using email marketing platforms, with a preference for experience with Braze, or similar tools.
- Previous experience working in email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app CRM channels.
- The agility and proactiveness to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities will shift, and processes may not yet exist.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS for email production (a plus).
- Action-oriented, proactive, and high-energy approach to driving change within the organization.
Preferred requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of email marketing tools and platforms.
- Experience with other email marketing tools in addition to customer.io.
- Deep understanding of subscription-based business models and strategies.
- Previous experience in a senior or lead role within email marketing or CRM.
- Proficiency in additional coding languages or data analytics tools relevant to email marketing.
- Experience using Tableau and MixPanel.
- Experience with building and running SQL database queries for quick analysis.

Compensation
- All final pay rates will be determined by the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
- Pay Range for this position: $100 000 - 130 000k per year.
