About the team:
The B2B Operations team is responsible for scaling and delivering CookUnity’s new business verticals, such as Smart Fridge and Cold Meal programs, across corporate and healthcare environments. The team collaborates closely with B2C operations, product, and customer experience to ensure seamless execution, operational reliability, and scalable systems that support growth
The Role
As the Senior Manager, B2B Operational Excellence, you will act as the operational architect of our B2B verticals. You’ll drive performance, design and document scalable processes, launch new initiatives, and ensure alignment with B2C operational standards while adapting for B2B-specific needs. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, process-building expertise, and a deep understanding of operational performance metrics. You’ll also hold financial accountability, ensuring margin alignment and cost-efficiency across all initiatives
Responsibilities:
- Design, document, and continuously improve SOPs and scalable workflows for B2B operations. (3 main product lines - Smart fridge, Cold meals, On-demand hot meals)
- Lead readiness and implementation for new pilots, products, and geographic launches.
- Monitor and report on operational KPIs (SLA for external vendors or partners, shrinkage, issue rates) and drive process improvement
- Partner with B2C Operations to ensure process alignment and shared tooling where applicable.
- Develop and deploy scalable operational programs to streamline onboarding, expansion.
- Collaborate with the Customer Experience team to integrate customer feedback into operations.
- Support and coach B2B Operations Managers and the NYC hub team to standardize and elevate day-to-day performance.
- Track and manage operational expenses, contributing directly to gross margin performance.
- Provide onboarding, training, and documentation for all new operational hires in the B2B team
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or process improvement in a high-growth, multi-market environment.
- Strong project management skills, with proven ability to scale programs or systems.
- Data-driven and metrics-obsessed, with experience in reporting tools and operational dashboards.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and aligning internal stakeholders.
- Excellent communicator and process documenter, capable of scaling systems and coaching teams.
- Comfortable working in hybrid logistics/digital environments (e.g., subscription-based services, food tech).
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in launching city-level operations or new distribution models.
- Familiarity with tools like Notion, Onfleet, and automation tools.
- Experience managing gross margin improvements or holding cost accountability within P&L.

Compensation
All final pay rates will be determined by candidates experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.Pay Range for this position
$100,000 - $135,000 USD
