About the Team:

At CookUnity, the Brand Marketing team is responsible for developing and executing world-class marketing activations and experiences that drive organic growth through brand awareness and earn loyalty beyond reason. This team sets the vision and strategy for the brand and brings it to life with strategic rigor, creative excellence, and cultural relevance. Through insight-inspired, data-led brand storytelling and experiences, CookUnity’s Brand Marketing team will build a category-defining brand loved by an entire generation of foodies.

The role:

CookUnity is seeking a creative, entrepreneurial Brand Content Manager with a passion for video storytelling to join the Brand Marketing team. In this role, you will lead video asset development and accelerate our content production process, fueling expansion to new channels across owned, earned, and paid. You will deliver beautiful, engaging content at varying levels of production quality, tailored to the channel, audience, and message for optimal resonance and production efficiency. We are looking for someone who is proactive, autonomous, and creatively ambitious — this is a hands-on role responsible for full stack video creation from concepting and scripting through to directing and editing. You will work closely with partners in social media, growth marketing, creative production, culinary, and with our chefs to deliver content that builds our brand, showcases our culinary artistry, and ignites the food enthusiast in everyone.

Key Responsibilities:m

Content Strategy and Planning

  • Develop and implement a detailed, forward looking production roadmap and editorial calendar aligning with content marketing strategy in support of key company outcomes
  • Work closely with Growth Marketing, Creative Production, Product, and Chef Success to organize, execute, and distribute a steady stream of quality content and at high velocity
  • Establish guidelines and benchmarks for creative quality across a variety of video types and formats including detailed direction on how to shoot chefs, food, trays/plating, etc

Content Creation and Management

  • Lead the end-to-end production of captivating, story-rich video content for organic social, YouTube, website, and the in-product digital customer experience
  • Oversee content production for incremental channels, including email, paid social, and paid campaigns to ensure creative excellence and overall brand consistency
  • Collaborate closely with editors, providing direction and feedback to deliver assets on-time and on-brand at a high velocity
  • Support and contribute to high fidelity, premium video shoots in the form of creative guidance, culinary expertise, and b-roll capture as time and capacity allow.

Performance Optimization

  • Work closely with partners in social and content marketing to apply data-driven insights and relevant trend data to create content concepts that drive social attributed organic trials
  • Partner with Content Marketing, Growth Marketing, and Data to monitor content performance and analyze to report actionable feedback to content iterations and testing
  • Bring urgency, inventiveness, and resourcefulness to everything you do — especially under tight timelines

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with content marketing to ensure CookUnity’s content ecosystem is populated with high quality, high performing video assets that accelerate our organic growth
  • Support ad hoc content needs/requests from other teams in support of achieving top company priorities
  • Build and manage an expansive video asset library that can be repurposed across channels and teams

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in successful high-growth premium consumer and/or technology brands
  • Hands-on experience in content development, creative strategy, planning, and creative insights development
  • Proficient in the nuances of content creation and know the specs, native features, best practices, hacks, and tricks to producing high quality, high performing video assets
  • Proven track record leading social-first campaigns and scalable content series that are effective in delivering both creative excellence and measurable business impact
  • Ability to proactively create solutions by digging into challenges and opportunities, breaking down complex problems and forming hypothesis and proposals with limited information
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects, initiatives, or programs at the same time, effectively prioritizing your focus to drive max impact in a dynamic, fast-paced, organization
  • Proficient in relevant creative software for photo and video editing, social scheduling, and social data monitoring and analytics
  • Excited to be on-the-go and willing to travel (locally and otherwise) to capture timely, relevant content live and IRL
  • Extremely detail oriented and obsessed with delivering next level digital experiences

Compensation

  • All final pay rates will be determined by the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
  • Pay Range for this position: $95,000 - $105,000 per year.
