The role:
As a People Insights Analyst, you will be responsible for providing operational and strategic analytics and insights to enable data-led decision making . You will bring data to life, unraveling stories that can help us identify trends and patterns to improve recruiting, employee performance, engagement, and retention.
In this role you will use your analytical skills to make a real impact on the lives of our people and collaborate with other stakeholder to develop strategies based on your findings.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and present people-related data sets (hiring, employee demographics, etc.) to derive actionable insights and trends.
- Curate data from various HR systems (ADP, HRIS, Greenhouse)
- Translate complex data into understandable narratives, providing meaningful context to stakeholders.
- Create insightful presentations, dashboards, and scorecards using tools like Tableau for the People Team.
- Work closely with the Team to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Provide strategic decision support to the Business and HR leaders.
- Collaborate on projects aimed at improving HR processes and strategies through data insights
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of people-related data; proactively identify and rectify discrepancies
- Propose and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of data processes
- Conduct workforce/labor management analysis, including trends in hourly labor workforce, overtime, predictive scheduling, and labor cost optimization
- HR Systems: Navigate and potentially implement HRIS systems. Propose and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of data processes
Minimum Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in a data and analytics role (preferably with exposure to HR or people leadership)
- Advanced English Skills
- Proficiency in Tableau or other data visualization and reporting tools
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Excel)
- Skilled in creating presentations, dashboards, and scorecards
- Ability to not just provide data but to interpret and tell a compelling story through data insights
Preferred requirements:
- Demonstrated and progressive experience in HR with a focus on analytics and reporting—or—in a data and analytics role with exposure to HR or people leader
- Experience consulting and advising senior/executive level stakeholders, preferably in an analytically-focused area
- Understanding of ETL, data warehousing, and data modeling concepts and practices (we use dbt and Snowflake).
- Experience with Tableau or other data visualization and reporting tools
