Salary: $70,000–$80,000 DOE + potential bonus

Cool Willy’s is growing, and we’re looking for a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our team in Tucson. This role plays a pivotal part in the accuracy, health, and clarity of our financial operations. We need someone who is confident in their accounting fundamentals, thrives in a hands-on environment, and is eager to grow into higher-level responsibilities—including the potential to develop into a Controller role over time.

What You’ll Do

General Accounting
• Prepare, record, and reconcile journal entries across the general ledger
• Perform monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations
• Participate in month-end close and prepare accurate, timely financial statements
• Manage accruals and ensure compliant revenue recognition

Financial Support & Reporting
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Support annual audit activities and tax return preparation
• Assist management with commission calculations and process payroll within BambooHR

Accounts Payable (AP)
• Process invoices, vendor payments, and maintain AP records
• Perform GL entries, bank reconciliations, and vendor relationship management
• Review invoices for accuracy and resolve discrepancies

Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Manage customer invoicing, collections, and payment posting
• Prepare GL entries, perform reconciliations, and issue customer refunds
• Support revenue tracking and reporting



What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience (GL or Staff Accountant level)
• Strong understanding of AP/AR, accruals, and general ledger management
• Ability to work independently — this role does not manage a team
• Desire and ambition to grow into a Controller position
• Industry experience is a plus, but not required
• Must pass a background check and drug screening per state and federal requirements


Compensation & Benefits
• $70,000–$80,000 annual salary (depending on experience)
