About the Work:

• Your time will be split between executing deployments against cloud environments and project-based work.  
• You will be responsible for helping execute deployments against pre-production environments.  You are expected to be detail oriented, organized and a good communicator. 
• You will help build out internal tools and automate pipelines improving our ci/cd processes while reducing toil. Perform software upgrades as part of routine maintenance of platforms, and other project-based work focused on Engineering effectiveness. 
• Your work will have direct impact on developer happiness, and improving the developer experience 
• You will gain experience in many different aspects of the SDLC without domain restrictions. No silos. 
• Other duties as required.  

About You:

• Experience in software development role or similar. 
• Experience working with Containerization (Docker & Kubernetes). 
• Experience with a programming language (Go/Python preferred).  
• Enjoys technology and exposure to many technical domains. 
• Comfortable working in Linux.  
• Automation: experience with configuration management and infrastructure as code tools. Terraform, Ansible, Helm, etc.  
• Experience working with a cloud provider (GCP, AWS, Azure).  
• A combination of a developer and sre/devops background would be ideal.  
• Ability to work independently and learn quickly with little supervision.  
• Confidence to ask questions publicly (eg. asking for clarity during meetings, giving feedback/answering questions on PRs), and to demonstrate your knowledge/work to others.  
• You’re the type of individual who is extremely tech-savvy and passionate about learning new technologies and tools crossing many domains. 
• Completing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, and/or similar experience. 
• Nice to Have: Terragrunt, Terraform Cloud, Github Actions, ArgoCD, CircleCI.
