About the Team:
Our UX team is reimagining the sports fan, sports betting, and iCasino experience. We’re made up of curious, driven, and high-performing product designers and researchers, all collaborating openly to translate ideas into reality. You will have opportunities to learn, grow, and explore various product areas, while also helping shape the practice. We value teamwork, creativity, and the openness to try new things, even if they don’t always work out.
About the Work:
- As a UX Research Co-op, you’ll live, breathe, and advocate for UX research across the organization. You’ll be supporting diverse UX research projects, while closely collaborating with UX researchers, product designers, and product managers. You’ll be challenged to think outside the box, and grow in areas that you value. You’ll actively shape how we think, conduct, and grow UX Research within our rapidly growing product organization on a daily basis.
- Ample opportunities to support generative and evaluative research, on some interesting topics that can REALLY change the sports media/betting experience
- Work within a highly collaborative and open-minded UX team, who consistently strive to ship the best experiences for our users
- Opportunities to learn new skills and engage in diverse research methodologies
- Identify creative and engaging ways to share research, both actively and passively
- Support quantitative and qualitative research projects across the project lifecycle, from scoping to delivery
- Build research artifacts (ie. archetypes, experience blueprints, design principles, etc)
- Analyze data and translate them into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences that inspire action and change
- Collaborate to design and execute workshops and/or ideation labs, with internal and external participants
- Other duties as required
About You:
- Experience in a related field or relevant major to research, technology, psychology, or human behaviour
- Interest in collecting, analyzing, and translating human insights/data into design recommendations
- Strong communication and storytelling skills - ability to captivate an audience with data
- Strong collaboration skills with others (engineers, designers, product managers, marketing, etc)
- Ability to critically think and dissect real-world problems, to identify and socialize solutions
- Comfortable working autonomously and proactively, while also being able to adapt to shifting circumstances
