Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Specialist to join our full-time marketing team.
This role will own and manage the content strategy and execution across four distinct brands: Copperstate, Jukebox, Uncle X, and Sol Flower Dispensary.
You will be responsible for running the day-to-day operations of our social platforms—including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), and LinkedIn—while building and maintaining a dynamic presence through storytelling, community engagement, and influencer partnerships.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, understands the nuances of platform best practices, and is comfortable navigating regulated industries like cannabis.
You should be passionate about culture, content, and connecting brands with audiences authentically and compliantly.
Core Responsibilities:
Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:

Own and manage a multi-brand social media content calendar across Copperstate, Jukebox, Uncle X, and Sol Flower Dispensary.
- Plan, create, and publish engaging content tailored to each platform’s best practices and brand tone.
- Drive and manage user-generated content (UGC) campaigns and local influencer partnerships, identifying, coordinating, and activating brand-aligned creators.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, retail, and creative teams to support promotions, product launches, and brand storytelling.
- Monitor daily community interactions, respond to comments/messages, and flag or escalate customer inquiries as needed.
- Analyze performance across platforms, track KPIs, and deliver reporting with insights and recommendations.
- Maintain compliance with all platform rules and cannabis industry marketing regulations.
- Stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates, and creative opportunities to keep content fresh and engaging.

Qualifications and Education:

- 1–3 years of professional experience managing social media accounts for brands or organizations.
- Deep familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn—plus scheduling tools like Later, Sprout Social, or Hootsuite.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills; able to tailor content voice for multiple brand personalities.
- Demonstrated experience growing and engaging social communities.
- Basic graphic design or video editing skills using Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Suite are a plus.
- Experience managing influencer relationships or social collaborations.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and brand voices simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing social media for multiple brands or within a multi-brand company.
- Background in consumer-facing industries like retail, CPG, lifestyle, or wellness.
- Experience in the cannabis industry with strong working knowledge of platform-specific advertising restrictions and compliance standards.
- Proven ability to navigate account restrictions and craft creative strategies in highly regulated industries.
- Familiarity with both organic and paid social strategies.
- Comfortable directing or capturing basic content for social media, including UGC, product shots, and in-store moments.
