Project Manager - Land Domain

The Role
The successful candidate is an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in the Defence Land domain. This position will join our Joint, Air and Land (JAL) team. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside our established experts in maritime, national security, and change/culture management.

You will be responsible for delivering project management and consulting services to Defence clients—primarily within CASG or Land domain environments. This role involves supporting project outcomes in a consulting context, so excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills are essential.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • 10+ year’s experience in Land domain, including management of programmes or projects
  • Sound knowledge of Army’s modernisation agenda as articulated by the NDS and IIP
  • Working knowledge of the One Defence Capability System (ODCS)
  • Active NV1 security clearance (or higher)
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
  • High attention to detail, with strong planning and communication capabilities
  • Resilient, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset

Highly Regarded (Ideal) Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in either CASG or Land Capability Division within AHQ
  • 5–10 years in project management roles
  • Relevant qualifications and/or accreditations in Project Management
  • Familiarity with developing ODCS capability definition artefacts
  • Working knowledge of the ASDEFCON suite
