Account Executive

Cordance is seeking an experienced K-12 EdTech salesperson to join the Hapara team in a top-performing territory. The ideal candidate will understand education, the sales cycle, the districts and schools in their territory, and most of all, loves to chase and close business. Strong sales, interpersonal, and organizational skills along with being comfortable multitasking and being able to budget their resources to meet the assigned quotas for their role.
This is a fully remote role responsible for an assigned territory. All candidates must be based in the US with work authorization
Responsibilities:
- Source, build and maintain district and school relationships within assigned territory
- Track and record metrics throughout the sales process
- Meet and exceed financial goals
- Understand and keep up to date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets for new business sales in the K-12 sector
- Maintain a healthy and well-qualified pipeline, focusing on the number of opportunities, deal size, and progression through the sales stages
- Deliver compelling meetings and product demonstrations to showcase the value of our software solutions in meeting the unique needs of K-12 environments
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in B2B SaaS sales in the K-12 education sector
- Strong understanding of the K-12 education landscape and the challenges faced by schools and districts
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to book meetings, lead discovery sessions, conduct demos, and close new business
- Bachelor’s degree in business, education, or a related field
- Google Workspace and Salesforce experience preferred
