Group President
Cordance is dedicated to accelerating the growth of vertically focused business-to-business (B2B) software-as-a-service (SaaS) companies through acquisition and long-term tactical and financial guidance. We’re experienced operators and subject-matter experts with a passion for software and building businesses. We partner with founders to help them scale their businesses and realize their companies’ full potential.
We look for businesses with strong leadership and high potential for profitable growth, and work together to increase year-over-year revenue, company efficiency, and impact. Cordance envisions that all companies we work with achieve their full potential. We embrace what makes each company great and build on those foundations. We believe in elevating a company as it scales, delivering dignity to the organization and its employees, and sharing a passion for building a legacy.
Cordance is seeking a strategic, execution-minded Group President to lead transformation efforts across multiple SaaS businesses within our expanding portfolio. This is not a traditional President role. We’re looking for a hands-on change agent who thrives on fixing what’s broken, optimizing performance, and unlocking long-term value, all while bringing energy, humility, and heart to their teams.
The ideal candidate will blend PE-backed operating experience, organizational transformation chops, and a sharp eye for cost efficiency and leverage. This is an ideal role for someone scrappy yet sophisticated, someone who can go deep in the weeds but also think at the boardroom level. There's considerable upside for growth as we scale our business units and expand our operational footprint.
This is a fully remote role; all candidates must be based in the U.S.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as P&L owner and transformation lead for 2-4 SaaS business units, with responsibility for strategy, execution, and outcomes
- Conduct full business diagnostics to identify operational bottlenecks, cost inefficiencies, and value creation levers
- Drive organizational realignment, including hiring and restructuring, to position teams for long-term scalability
- Lead pricing, packaging, and go-to-market transformations to accelerate revenue growth and improve net retention
- Implement rigorous KPI and forecasting frameworks tied to EBITDA, gross margin, and customer success metrics
- Partner with Cordance leadership to guide board-level planning and future-state org design
- Foster a culture of accountability, speed, and strategic clarity while building rapport across diverse teams
- Bring urgency to execution while remaining empathetic, collaborative, and deeply people-centric
What You Bring
- Deep experience operating within B2B SaaS businesses is essential; candidates without SaaS fluency will face a steep learning curve not aligned with the pace of this role
- Proven track record of leading business turnarounds or transformations within PE-backed or multi-entity B2B SaaS portfolios
- Demonstrated success driving EBITDA improvements through cost restructuring, GTM reengineering, and team design
- Exceptional financial fluency across SaaS unit economics, especially CAC, LTV, churn, and retention optimization
- Strong change management orientation from culture to systems to strategy
- A balance of strategic IQ and operator grit, willing to do the hard work while seeing the big picture
- Executive-level communication skills and the ability to build trust with front-line teams and leadership alike
What Will Help You Stand Out
- A reputation as both a fixer and a force multiplier, someone who gets results and elevates the people around them
- Experience navigating PE SaaS environments
- Versatility across product, GTM, finance, and customer experience disciplines
- Playbook familiarity with value creation in lower middle market or founder-led companies
