Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant at Cordance, you’ll be integral to the month-end close process, financial reporting, and support tax and compliance activities across multiple entities. You’ll work with tools like NetSuite and Avalara, and collaborate closely with the tax, finance, payroll, and business unit teams.
This is a fully remote role.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete month-end close activities, reconciliations, and consolidated reporting.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, cash forecasts, and management reports.
- Maintain fixed asset and lease schedules and associated accounting, goodwill and amortization, and payroll accounting across entities.
- Manage intercompany transactions, including eliminations, allocations, and transfer pricing entries across entities.
- Oversee debt and interest accounting, as well as management fees and related-party transactions.
- Assist with tax reconciliations, filings and reporting with external and internal stakeholders.
- Support process improvements and automation within accounting systems.
- Respond to ad hoc requests from leadership and provide reconciliation support to the Accounts Receivable team when required.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in multi-entity or SaaS environments.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite.
- Deep understanding of US GAAP, consolidations, ASC 606 and financial reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or MBA preferred.
