Executive Assistant to CEO
Towards the end of our interview process is an in-person interview.
Do you want to help make the world safe from cyber attack?
At Corelight, we believe that the best approach to cybersecurity risk starts with the network. Attackers can evade endpoint detection, firewalls and many other technologies - but they can’t avoid leaving digital footprints on the networks they traverse. Built on open-source innovations from Zeek, Suricata and YARA and refined through years of real-world use, Corelight transforms network footprints from physical, virtual and cloud networks into actionable insights. Our customers use these insights to speed incident response and proactively hunt for threats.
Role
We are looking for an exceptional executive assistant to maximize the impact of our CEO. The right person brings a combination of professional engagement, reliable execution, adaptability and discretion to Corelight’s executive leadership team. This candidate needs to be located in the Pacific Time Zone
Responsibilities
- Own and optimize the CEO's calendar and priorities with strategic foresight and minimal oversight — anticipating needs, navigating competing demands, and maintaining focus on what matters most.
- Coordinate complex travel arrangements, proactively manage logistics, and ensure the CEO is briefed and prepped.
- Serve as a connective tissue across the executive team - ensuring information flows smoothly, meetings are purposeful and well-run.
- Act as the main point of contact and plan all Board meetings, including coordinating Board and leadership team materials.
- Own and execute internal initiatives (e.g., Board meetings, executive team retreats, All Hands, special cross-functional projects). Bring rigor to planning, execution, and follow-through.
- Collaborate and coordinate across the organization, creating efficiency across the administrative peer group, as well as providing back-up support for other executive assistants.
- Act as an extension of the CEO, representing the company both internally and externally as a brand ambassador.
- Travel expected to be at least once quarterly.
Qualifications
- 7 + years of progressively responsible experience as an executive assistant, with at least one position supporting a CEO or similar C-Suite executive.
- Prior experience managing EA teams preferred.
- Demonstrated success in complex calendar management, travel coordination, and executive communication.
- Proven ability to operate independently, prioritize strategically, and maintain composure under pressure.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with acute attention to detail.
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to navigate sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
- Tech-savvy and highly proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Slides), Slack, Confluence, Salesforce (preferred).
