The Job
The Construction Administrator will serve as a liaison between the Company and contractors, ensuring that assigned projects stay on schedule and the contractors are on task. The Construction Administrator will also interact with contractors and representatives of owners on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Administer Procore functions for specifically assigned projects, including creating commitments, change orders, and invoices.
- Process new contracts and read and understand basic contract language.
- Follow purchase orders and invoices from Procore through the accounting process.
- Collaborate with accounting on new vendor setup.
- Work with accounting to create weekly escrow packages.
- Assist with multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, while maintaining strict attention to detail.
- Participate in weekly job meetings and act on meeting requirements.
- Maintain Project and Contract Lists for various tracking purposes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all supplier and subcontractor correspondence and communication to ensure receipt of properly executed copies of all documents.
- Initiate, process, and properly complete projects Close Out.
- Provide Construction Administration support on projects in collaboration with project leadership.
- Foster open, respectful, and professional communication both within the team and with coworkers, teammates, and leaders across the organization.

Qualifications
- Associate’s degree, technical school certification or equivalent relevant experience required.
- 4 years of progressive professional experience in a construction administration leadership role on medium to large-scale projects of varying types and complexity required.
- Proficiency in Procore Software, including the Finance module desired.
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, Excel, Word) and Adobe
- Acrobat Pro required.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills required.
- Strong organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills required.
- Experience with construction project management systems (i.e., Procore, Primavera Unifier,
- Microsoft Project, e-Builder, Newforma, etc.) desired.
- Experience in data center-related construction projects preferred.

Travel
Minimal travel may be required as needed.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, and smartphones.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, and lift up to 20 pounds.
Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time. General hours and days of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. some nights and weekends may be required.
