Job Overview

At Coretelligent, our Elite Account clients represent the cornerstone of our business — high-value organizations with complex environments that demand a premium level of partnership and strategic execution. We’re seeking a seasoned and commercially driven Senior Account Manager to lead these critical relationships. This role owns the full lifecycle of strategic account management, serving as the executive point of contact while driving long-term retention and revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and renewal leadership. You’ll partner closely with internal delivery teams to ensure seamless execution, while proactively aligning our IT and cybersecurity solutions with evolving client needs. This is a high-impact, client-facing role suited for individuals with strong commercial instincts, a consultative approach, and a proven ability to manage and grow enterprise-level accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

(Elite Client Segment: $250K + Annual Revenue)

  • Serve as the executive-level relationship owner for Coretelligent’s highest-value clients, ensuring alignment between our IT solutions and their long-term business strategy.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Elite Accounts, maintaining a proactive, consultative presence that fosters trust, strategic growth, and retention.
  • Lead strategic account planning by identifying client priorities, anticipating business challenges, and aligning Coretelligent services to deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Drive revenue retention and expansion within assigned accounts through upsell and cross-sell of managed services, cloud, cybersecurity, and compliance solutions.
  • Own contract negotiations and renewal cycles, ensuring commercial terms align with client needs and internal delivery capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with Service Delivery, Security, and Technical teams to ensure consistent execution, SLA compliance, and a premium client experience.
  • Monitor account health, mitigate risk, and introduce innovative solutions that improve resiliency, efficiency, and compliance for enterprise environments.
  • Maintain executive visibility across each client’s organization while advocating internally for their evolving business and technology priorities.
  • Serve as a senior commercial leader within the account services team, mentoring peers and contributing to the evolution of client engagement strategy.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of relevant customer success experience in the IT field, MSP background preferred
  • Prove success working with enterprise clients with complex business and regulatory needs
  • Consistently achieving quarter quotas through upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.
  • Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and consultative selling skills
  • Executive presence with experience engaging C-suite stakeholders
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a demonstrated ability to take the initiative and drive results

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong understanding of software licensing frameworks is a plus
  • Passion for technology and helping businesses achieve success through better IT solutions

 

Salary Range for this position (depending upon experience): 

$100,000 - $130,000 (OTE $175k-$200k)

 

This range reflects the minimum and maximum targets for new hires across all US locations (with the exception of MA, NY, and CA). Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, work location, and relevant education or training.
