Job Summary:

This is a part-time contract position. The contract will run from October 2025 through March 2026. The intern will be expected to work between 10 and 15 hours per week. This is subject to change based on program needs and intern capacity; these decisions will be made by Correlation One (C1) staff and communicated well in advance.

The Apex Marketing Intern(s) will create short-form, student-centered content and grassroots digital outreach strategies that increase awareness of and applications for the Apex America Initiative’s student-focused programs - the “AI Launchpad: Student Workshop Series” and the “High School AI Championship”. The intern(s) will play a pivotal role in helping Correlation One reach 10,000 high school student applicants for the High School AI Championship, which will take place between March and April 2026.

Program Specific Information:

The Apex America Initiative’s High School AI Championship is America's first AI competition designed to identify and develop the nation’s next generation of artificial intelligence leaders. Open to all high school students in the U.S. ages 14-18, this groundbreaking competition combines rigorous technical assessment with real-world problem solving, mentorship from industry leaders, and life-changing opportunities.

Leading up to the championship in March 2026, Correlation One will also host the AI Launchpad: Student Workshop Series. This series will provide high school students in the U.S. with free, virtual workshops designed to introduce them to foundational AI concepts, tools, and use-cases, as well as to coach them on specific AI tools and strategies for succeeding in our championship. This series will be central to delivering value to participants and ensuring the program’s credibility as a top AI/STEM learning experience for high school students.

We are currently looking to hire up to two (2) Apex Marketing Interns to help us advertise the Apex America Initiative’s student-focused programs above and to ultimately support Correlation One with reaching our goal of 10,000 high school student applicants for the High School AI Championship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, produce, and publish short videos each week on various social media platforms (e.g. TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts) that explain the Apex America Initiative and its student programs, that encourage students to apply for the programs, and that help build positive Correlation One and Apex brand recognition amongst high school students.
  • Create other social assets for use in Apex marketing (e.g. memes, written content for social posts, etc.) and develop/implement outreach timeline and strategy.
  • Track, report and help the Apex marketing team capitalize on student trends.
  • Explore and propose opportunities for marketing micro-collabs [e.g. duet/stitch prompts, user generated content (UGC) swaps with STEM creators, etc.].
  • Track performance (e.g. Impressions → Clicks → Application Starts → Completed Applications) and make marketing recommendations based on accumulated data.
  • Propose original social media experiments and support with ad-hoc Apex tasks as needed.
  • Meet with Correlation One supervisor(s) weekly to assess progress, exchange feedback, and align on marketing strategies.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrated advertising or storytelling experience using various social media platforms (especially TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube).

  • Interest in AI/STEM, program operations, and/or marketing career and other opportunities.
  • A passion for education, AI, and empowering the next generation of technologists.

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and encourage candidates who may not meet every bullet above to apply. Depth of knowledge and the ability to create engaging content that resonates with high school students is most important.

Form CC-305

Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
