Manager, Alumni Engagement & Operations

Remote: MENA

About the Company

Correlation One is the largest provider of AI and data workforce development programs globally, having trained over 500,000 professionals across 11 countries. As the largest training provider for Amazon Career Choice, and a growing partner to state governments building registered apprenticeship programs, Correlation One sits at the intersection of employer talent needs and scalable workforce training.

We work with Fortune 500 enterprises, federal and state government agencies, and leading employers to close skills gaps in AI, data analytics, cybersecurity, and operations leadership. Our programs produce job-ready graduates who are prepared to contribute from day one.

About the Role

Graduates of our Amazon Career Choice programs receive up to 18 months of post-program support: career coaching, an alumni community of roughly 9,000 members, and connections to employer partners. This role owns the systems that make that support work. That includes how alumni hear from us, how they move through our community, how coaches are deployed, and how outcomes data moves from our warehouse into decisions. The role is part communicator, part builder, part analyst, with AI built into how you do all three. It suits someone who writes a warm launch post in the morning and debugs an Apps Script trigger in the afternoon.

What You'll Do

Alumni Engagement & Communications

  • Own the alumni communications calendar, planning multi-channel outreach (Slack, email, SMS, LinkedIn) for cohort graduations, coaching milestones, events, and support-window reminders.
  • Write and launch campaigns end to end: copy, audience segmentation, cadence, forms, and follow-up tracking. This includes welcome campaigns for new cohorts and promotion of live programming such as mock interview labs and career co-working sessions. Use AI tools to draft, personalize, and translate messaging at scale, with human review before anything goes out.
  • Manage the alumni Slack community, including tenure-based channels, invite links and their limits, welcome messaging, and the alumni LinkedIn network. Keep these spaces accurate, active, and limited to eligible members.
  • Run outcomes and profile-update campaigns that collect placement data, resumes, and LinkedIn profiles from alumni. Use Typeform logic (e.g., hidden fields) so one message can serve several eligibility groups.
  • Partner with coaches on newly placed alumni and contributor stories to strengthen peer-to-peer engagement.

Automation & Workflow Systems

  • Design, build, and maintain automations that remove manual work from alumni and coach operations. Examples include channel lifecycle automation that moves alumni between tenure-based Slack channels, welcome bots, personalized coach-to-alumni DM tools, coach assignment, and welcome email sequences.
  • Build with Google Apps Script, the Slack API, Connected Sheets, and no-code tools, working within platform constraints such as plan limits, rate limits, and execution timeouts.
  • Engineer for reliability: dry-run and test modes, validation before writes, run logs, safe-failure logic, and manual override paths.
  • Write clear maintainer documentation so each system can be supported by someone other than its builder.
  • Build and own the AI-powered steps in these workflows, such as LLM-based resume review, message drafting, and response triage, including the prompts, quality checks, and human-review points that keep output accurate.

Data Warehouse & Reporting

  • Maintain BigQuery datasets and views that feed alumni operations, including rosters, program and tenure dates, and email matching across systems.
  • Connect warehouse data to Sheets, Tableau, and Hex, and own dashboards for outcomes (by country, month, and transition type) and coach performance.
  • Own data quality across the alumni record: validate form ingestion, resolve duplicates, and keep resume, LinkedIn, and profile updates in sync across the admin app, Recruit CRM, Airtable, and the warehouse. Use AI-assisted methods to speed up record matching, deduplication, and cleanup, validating results against source data.
  • Produce recurring and ad hoc analyses, such as half-year alumni support reviews and placement trend lines. Clearly lay out methodology tradeoffs, such as reporting by processed date versus reporting date.

Coach & Program Operations

  • Manage day-to-day operations for a contracted bench of career coaches: learner assignments, onboarding and offboarding, booking links, coverage during transitions, tracking sheets, and the coach operational guide.
  • Coordinate professional development session facilitation for active cohorts, including scheduling presenters and confirming sessions with program teams.
  • Build employer-partner candidate pipelines. Match alumni and learners to partner role requirements, confirm interest, and deliver clean shortlists with resumes and LinkedIn profiles.
  • Maintain the PD Ops project tracker and team playbooks so priorities, owners, and status stay visible.

What You Bring

Required

  • 2+ years in program operations, alumni relations, career services, community operations, or operations analytics, ideally in education, workforce development, or a high-volume learner environment.
  • Strong SQL and hands-on experience with a cloud data warehouse (BigQuery preferred).
  • Scripting ability in Google Apps Script/JavaScript or Python, and comfort working with REST APIs (Slack API experience is a plus).
  • Excellent written communication, with a track record of messaging that drives action, and judgment about tone, timing, and audience fatigue.
  • Ability to manage many concurrent workstreams across internal teams, contracted coaches, and external partners.
  • A builder's mindset: you notice repetitive work and propose a system for it, then document it so others can run it.
  • Hands-on experience applying AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini) to real operational work, such as drafting communications, cleaning data, or automating reviews, and the judgment to know where human review is needed.

Preferred

  • Experience with Tableau or Hex, Typeform, Airtable, Notion, and an ATS/CRM such as Recruit CRM.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Career Choice or similar employer-funded upskilling programs.
  • Experience coordinating contractor or vendor teams.

Tools You'll Use

  • Slack (admin and API), Google Workspace and Apps Script, BigQuery, Tableau, Hex, Typeform, Airtable, Recruit CRM, Notion, Calendly, Zoom, Canva, and AI tools such as Claude
