Centralized Support Specialist Part-Time
Cottonwood Residential is hiring for a part-time Centralized Support Specialist!
- This is a remote position!
- This team operates Monday-Friday 9am-9pm EST, Saturdays 10-8 EST, and Sundays 11-7 EST. Weekends are required.
- Shifts are: Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm or 3pm-9pm, Saturdays from 10am-6pm or 12pm-8pm, and Sundays 11am-7pm EST.
- Candidates must be able to work morning or afternoon shifts.
- Candidates based in Salt Lake City, UT are preferred, however any candidates within PST or MST will be considered.
Job Summary
Cottonwood Residential is seeking a Centralized Support Specialist (CSS) to support its growing residential portfolio. Working as a part of the Operations team and under the strategic direction of the Training & Implementation Manager, the ideal CSS would be responsible for the daily management and execution of prospective residents communications. The CSS will collaborate with onsite team members to ensure communication efforts align with overall community strategies and have a strong passion for providing premier customer service. The incumbent must be team-oriented and collaborative, but also be willing to wear a variety of hats within the department.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Manage and respond to leasing texts; assist prospective residents with pricing information, availability, and property information.
• Acquire and retain knowledge of multiple properties and be able to quickly respond to questions from prospects based on property.
• Ability to travel if needed to gain understanding of properties
• Answer prospect and customer inquires, which may include questions about the surrounding area, the community, the company, lease details, amenities, etc.
• Reach out to prospective residents to follow up and gather information.
• Use proper grammar and professionalism in all text responses to prospects.
• Establish rapport and collaborate with the onsite team members to create smooth communication about the community.
• Adhere to federal, state, and local fair housing regulations.
• Provide premier customer service to internal and external customers to ensure the experience is effortless and seamless.
• Research and prepare reports and other documents using Entrata or other software at the direction of the Training & Implementation Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned or as assigned.
Additional Skills & Competencies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including creative marketing copywriting and editing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Computer proficient: MS Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; Operating System.
• Outstanding organizational, marketing communications and interpersonal skills.
• Brings outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to communicate results to management and in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to identify problems, create solutions, and implement solutions with proven results.
• Ability to adapt to change management and evolution of position/responsibilities.
