Location: 📍Remote – must be based in the US

Work Schedule: Mon–Fri, standard business hours (flexibility for evenings/weekends as needed)

Compensation: $90,000-$95,000. However, actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's skills and experience.


About the Role

We’re seeking a detail-driven Data Engineer to design, implement, and manage the flow of data across systems supporting our organization’s data infrastructure. This role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy and availability, and optimizing our data warehouse environment.

You’ll play a key role in enabling data analysts and business intelligence teams to access reliable, actionable insights while maintaining strong data governance and performance standards.


What You’ll Do

  • Design and manage APIs to enable secure and efficient data flow between systems
  • Build, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines for reliability and performance
  • Develop and automate ETL processes to ingest, clean, and transform data from multiple sources
  • Manage and optimize the Snowflake data warehouse environment
  • Create and maintain data models and views to support reporting and BI tools
  • Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot issues to ensure data consistency and accuracy
  • Collaborate with data analysts and BI teams to support reporting and visualization needs
  • Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices
  • Validate data outputs and ensure quality, consistency, and integrity across systems
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve performance, scalability, and efficiency
  • Document data flows, integrations, and system architecture for transparency and knowledge sharing
  • Provide support and guidance to stakeholders on data infrastructure and reporting capabilities

What You Bring

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Experience & Skills

  • Experience designing and managing data pipelines, APIs, and data warehouse environments
  • Strong SQL skills with experience in Snowflake (preferred) or similar platforms
  • Hands-on experience with ETL processes and data transformation
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and best practices
  • Experience supporting BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work with large datasets across distributed systems
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and performance
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
  • Flexibility for occasional evenings, weekends, and travel
