AI Content Transformation Associate

(Remote, Full-Time)

Coursemojo is a leading ed-tech company, which has developed a best-in-class, curriculum-aligned, AI-powered assistant teacher. “Mojo” is designed to bridge the gap that exists between the high-quality English Language Arts instructional materials that school districts have adopted and the diversity of student needs that exist in classrooms. With the goal of supporting both teachers and diverse learners, “Mojo” helps educators differentiate instruction by providing each student (multi-lingual learners, students with IEPs, advanced students, struggling readers) with targeted, Socratic, one-on-one and small group support (in 50+ languages) through interactive learning activities in the context of core class instruction.

In the role of AI Content Transformation Associate you will bring your strong detail- and process-driven orientation to the critical work of preparing educational content for our AI-powered application where it will be transformed into an engaging learning experience that students and teachers love. This entry-level, implementation-focused role is ideal for someone who excels at detail-oriented work, enjoys working with technology, loves being part of a team, and thrives when following established processes with precision and care. This role will report to our AI Content Transformation Specialists.

Why is this role important?

You will own essential work that makes our AI-powered educational content function correctly for students. Every piece of content that goes into our application needs to be configured precisely according to very specific formatting rules and standards. When done well, this work is invisible to end users. When done poorly, it breaks the student experience. Your attention to detail directly impacts whether students can engage effectively with our powerful learning experiences.

What will you do?

Content Transformation & Data Configuration (75%)

  • Accurately transfer human- and AI-authored educational content it into our application's required format
  • Follow detailed formatting rules and specifications to ensure our content displays and functions correctly
  • Match content from source documents to corresponding fields, ensuring accuracy with no extra spaces, periods, or formatting errors
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues when content imports don't work as expected
  • Maintain detailed records of your transformation work and any issues encountered

Cross-Team Coordination & Collaboration (25%)

  • Communicate daily with team members via Slack about project status, blockers, and questions
  • Participate in team meetings with the Transformation Team, Content Team, Engineering Team, and other internal stakeholders
  • Ask clarifying questions proactively when instructions are unclear or you encounter unexpected scenarios
  • Collaborate with your colleagues on the Transformation Team to learn and adapt processes, innovate where necessary, and improve efficiency
  • Report issues and bugs to appropriate team members promptly

What are we looking for?

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field
  • 0-2 years of post-collegiate experience

Skills & Attributes

  • Exceptional attention to detail: You naturally notice small differences in text formatting and structure. You're the person who spots the typo that everyone else missed, and you bring that detail-orientation to everything you do.
  • Tenacity: When something doesn't match or work correctly, you have the persistence to track down what's wrong, even when it's not immediately obvious.
  • Effective communication: You ask questions when you're uncertain, communicate clearly about your work, and aren't afraid to ask what might feel like a "stupid question".
  • Ability to learn processes: You can learn detailed, specific procedures and follow them consistently. You don't need to have prior experience with our exact tools—you need to be able to learn them.
  • Problem-solving mindset: When you encounter an error or issue, you can diagnose what's wrong and figure out how to fix it, asking for help when needed.
  • Responsiveness: You can react to urgent issues, changing priorities, and unexpected scenarios without getting overwhelmed.

Technical Baseline

  • Google Suite familiarity: You've used Google Sheets and Google Docs before and can navigate them comfortably. You don't need to be a power user, but you shouldn't need someone to show you where basic functions are located.
  • Basic HTML & Markdown formatting knowledge: You have some familiarity with both HTML & Markdown formatting. You understand technical concepts like the difference between curly quotes and straight quotes, spacing, line breaks, and other formatting elements.
  • General computer fluency: You're comfortable working across multiple applications, tabs, and tools simultaneously.
  • Resourcefulness: When you need to learn something new (like "how do I record my screen?"), you can Google it and follow instructions to figure it out.

Preferred (but not required)

  • Experience with project management tools like Jira
  • Experience with Slack, Discord, or similar communication platforms
  • Familiarity with CSV files and data imports
  • Previous data entry or quality assurance experience
  • Understanding of educational content or curriculum

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
